Mark Leuchter is Associate Professor in the Department of Religion and Director of Jewish Studies at Temple University, Philadelphia. This lecture considers the mythological background to personal moral struggle in ancient Judaism. This is part of Mark’s Myth-making in the Hebrew Bible & Ancient Judaism lecture series at Mandelbaum House.
The Mandelbaum Trust supports scholars from around the world to visit Sydney. Guest scholars typically give public lectures at Mandelbaum House and offer teaching and tutoring at the University of Sydney through the Department of Hebrew, Biblical and Jewish Studies and other relevant departments.
